A bigger microchip door you can run from your phone
The Pet Door Connect is the larger SureFlap: a 178 × 170 mm flap for big cats and small dogs. The reader on the outside checks the microchip of every animal that pushes in and opens only for the pets you have registered, so the neighbour’s cat stays outside. Going out is always free.
The app, with the Hub
Add the SureFlap Hub (sold separately), plug it into your router and the free Sure Petcare app lets you lock or unlock the door from anywhere, set curfew times so it locks and unlocks on its own, and get a notification each time a pet comes or goes, with a history of their activity. You can share access with the rest of the household.
Doors, walls and glass
Out of the box it fits timber, uPVC and metal doors with a 207 × 234 mm cut-out and a 70 mm tunnel. For a wall or a thicker door add the TUN101WT2 tunnel extender. For a window, a glass door or a ranch slider a glazier cuts a round hole (300 mm is ideal, up to 320 mm) and the door mounts through the GMA101WT2 mounting adaptor.
Smaller cat?
For a cat up to about 6 kg the SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap is smaller and runs on AA batteries. If you would rather avoid batteries altogether, the Catwalk® Multi-Magnetic does selective entry with a collar magnet.

DIY fit in doors. Walls need the tunnel extender; for glass a glazier cuts the hole and the door mounts through the adaptor.
Care
Wipe the flap and frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent; keep the battery compartment dry. No solvents, no abrasive pads. Change the four C batteries when they run low.
Warranty
3 years from Sure Petcare against manufacturing defects, from the date of purchase. Excludes batteries, accidental damage, misuse and normal wear. Keep your PetNest order email as proof of purchase. How to fit it
- 1Check the fit. The flap opening is 178 × 170 mm. Measure your pet’s width and chest depth; each should fit with room to spare.
- 2Mark the cut-out. Floor to your pet’s stomach is where the bottom of the opening goes. Draw the 207 × 234 mm rectangle at that height.
- 3Cut the hole. Drill a start hole in each corner and cut along the line with a jigsaw.
- 4Fit the two frames. Outer frame from outside, inner frame from inside, screwed together through the door. Wall or thick door: add the tunnel extender first.
- 5Fit the batteries. Four C batteries in the compartment on the inside frame.
- 6Register your pets. Follow the instructions to register each pet’s microchip. For the app, set up the SureFlap Hub (sold separately) and pair the door in the Sure Petcare app.

The flap opening is 178 × 170 mm — made for large cats and small dogs. Measure your pet’s width at the shoulders and depth from shoulder to chest; each should fit inside the opening with room to spare.

Before you buy
Do I need the SureFlap Hub?
Only for the app. The door reads your pets’ microchips and lets them in on its own. The Hub (sold separately) connects it to your router and the Sure Petcare app for remote locking, curfew times and come-and-go notifications.
Is it big enough for my dog?

Which microchips does it read?
The common identification microchips used for pets. If you are unsure what your pet has, your vet can scan it in a few seconds.
Can it go into glass or a wall?
Yes. For glass a glazier cuts a round hole — 300 mm is ideal, up to 320 mm — and the door mounts through the GMA101WT2 mounting adaptor. For a wall or a thick door add the TUN101WT2 tunnel extender.
How long do the batteries last?
Up to 6 months on four C batteries, which are not included.
Can my pets go out freely?
Yes. Any pet can go out; only the microchipped pets you have registered can come back in. With the Hub you can also lock it or set curfew times from the app.
What is the warranty?
