Is PetNest a New Zealand business?

Yes. PetNest is run from Auckland by Pet-Tek International, the NZ-owned company that has designed Catwalk® cat doors and Dogwalk® dog doors since 1999. Every order ships from our Auckland base.

What does PetNest sell?

Catwalk® cat doors and Dogwalk® dog doors for glass, timber, uPVC and metal, genuine replacement flaps and parts for every model, and the SureFlap microchip cat flap. More of the range opens over the coming months.

Which door do I need?

It depends on what the door goes into and the size of your pet. Glass doors, windows and ranch sliders take a glass-fitting door that a glazier installs; timber, uPVC and metal doors take a wood-fitting door you can fit yourself. Find your door names the model in three taps.

Can a cat or dog door go into double glazing?

Yes. An existing double-glazed unit cannot be cut, so your glazier supplies a new pane with the round hole already made and the door clamps through it. The Dual Glaze models fit glass up to 28–32 mm depending on size.

Do the doors come with a warranty?

Yes — Catwalk® and Dogwalk® doors carry 3 years on the door and 1 year on the moving parts (flap, 4-way locking dial and magnets). Replacement flaps are stocked for every model, including doors fitted years ago.

How much is shipping?

We ship nationwide from Auckland, with free shipping on orders over NZ$250.
