The genuine replacement flap for the Catwalk® Wood-Fitting Multi-Magnetic Cat Door: a 155 × 170 mm UV-stabilised polycarbonate panel and its magnet. This door uses side-locking flaps — no hinge plate and no screws — so the old flap flexes out of the frame channels and the new one flexes in.

A new flap, the same door
The flap is the part that takes the knocks — claws, sun and years of pets pushing through. When it is scratched, cloudy, cracked or no longer closing firmly on its magnet, a new flap brings the door back without touching the frame, so nothing in the glass or the wall has to change.

Is this the right flap?
Match the code on your door frame to the list above, or measure the flap itself: this one is 155 × 170 mm. Still not sure? Email a photo to info@petnest.co.nz and we will tell you.
What arrives
- W-MCDRF replacement flap
- Magnet (press-fits into the base of the flap)
The 4-way locking dial is not part of this kit; dial sets are listed on the spares page.
Care
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. No solvents or abrasive pads — they haze polycarbonate.
Warranty
Covered against manufacturing defects. Keep your proof of purchase. This sits alongside, and does not limit, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
How to fit it
- 1Look at how it is held. Open the flap and find the channels on each side of the frame that hold it.
- 2Remove the old flap. Gently flex or slide it free of one side, then the other. Take care not to damage the frame.
- 3Fit the magnet the right way round. Hold the new magnet against the magnet in the base of the door frame — it must pull towards it, not push away. Then press it firmly into the recess at the base of the new flap. Once it is in, it cannot be taken out again.
- 4Fit the new flap. Put one side into its frame channel, gently flex the flap and guide the other side in. Check both sides are seated — no screws hold it.
- 5Test it. Open and release the flap a few times: it should swing freely, sit evenly and close firmly on the magnet.

Before you buy
Which doors does the W-MCDRF fit?
Wood-Fitting Multi-Magnetic Cat Door (W-MCDW, W-MCDB). Each colour of these doors takes the same flap.
What comes in the pack?
The flap and its magnet. The locking dial is sold separately.
Do I need tools?
No. This door has side-locking flaps: the old one flexes out of the frame channels and the new one flexes in. No screws.
Which way round does the magnet go?
Hold it against the magnet in the base of the door frame first: it must pull towards it. Then press it into the base of the flap — once in, it cannot be removed.
When is it time for a new flap?
When the flap is scratched or cloudy, cracked, letting in draughts, or no longer closing firmly on its magnet.
Do I need new collar magnets too?
Only if one has been lost. A new flap works with the collar magnets your cats already wear; spare pairs are the C-M collar magnets.
