A wooden cat door you can fit before dinner
The Slim Line is the everyday Catwalk for a timber, composite, metal or uPVC door between 11 and 30 mm thick — and for an internal door, where you want the laundry open to the cat but shut to the dog. Trace the template, cut, fit the two frames from each side, four screws, done.
Sized for ordinary cats
The opening is 155 mm wide by 157 mm high, for cats up to about 7 kg. The flap closes on a magnet against a brush seal, so it is quiet and keeps the weather out.
Four-way lock
In only, out only, both ways, or locked — one dial. The dial clips in without tools, so a replacement is a two-minute job.
Download the installation guide (PDF) — the fitting sheet that comes in the box.
Thick door or wall? Choose the Tunnel
For panels 11–52 mm the Tunnel version lines the hole with a self-adjusting sleeve. To keep other cats out, see the Multi-Magnetic.

- 4-way locking dial, factory fitted

DIY fit — drill, jigsaw and screwdriver. No trades needed.
Care
Wipe the flap and frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent. No solvents, no abrasive pads — they haze polycarbonate. The brush seal can be replaced if it wears; ask us for the part.
Warranty
3 years on the door against manufacturing and parts defects; 1 year on movable parts — the replacement flap (W-CDRF, $24) and the 4-way locking dial (W-LDCDG, $13). Excludes accidental damage, misuse and normal wear. Keep your proof of purchase. This sits alongside, and does not limit, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
How to fit it
- 1Measure belly height. Floor to your cat’s stomach while standing — the bottom of the opening sits there. Cats: 100–150 mm.

- 2Mark the cut-out. Tape the template from the box to the door at that height and draw round it.
- 3Cut the hole. Drill a start hole in each corner and cut along the line with a jigsaw. Suits panels 11–30 mm.
- 4Fit the outer frame. From outside, push the outer frame into the hole.
- 5Fit the inner frame. From inside, push the inner frame on and screw the two halves together evenly.
- 6Test the lock. The dial comes fitted — turn it through all four positions and check the flap swings freely.
Four-way locking

Entry only · exit only · both ways · locked.

Two measurements
Measure your cat’s width at the shoulders and the depth from the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the chest; add 25 mm to each and both should fit inside the opening. Fit the door with the bottom of the opening 100–150 mm off the floor.
Multi-pet home? Size for the biggest, fit for the smallest — the bottom of the opening at the smaller animal’s belly height.

Before you buy
What doors does it fit?
Timber, composite, metal and uPVC panels from 11 to 30 mm thick, inside or out. For a solid door or wall up to 52 mm use the Tunnel version.
Can I fit it myself?
Yes. Drill, jigsaw and screwdriver. Mark the template at your cat’s belly height (100–150 mm off the floor), cut, fit the outer frame from outside and the inner from inside, and screw together. About 30 minutes.
What size cat fits?
Cats up to about 7 kg through a 155 × 157 mm opening. A very large cat is better suited to the Dogwalk Small wood-fitting door.
Does it lock?
Four ways with the dial: in only, out only, both, or locked. Handy for night curfews and vet mornings.
White or brown?
Both, same price. White (W-CDW) for painted or uPVC doors; brown (W-CDB) for stained timber.
