Every model, every colour
Glass-fitting · Standard & Maxi · glazier installed
For windows, glass doors and ranch sliders. The Standard (165 × 180 mm) suits most cats in single glazing 3–10 mm. The Maxi (187 × 190 mm) takes big cats and small dogs: Dual Glaze for double glazing to 28 mm, Slim Line for single panes and sliders. Your glazier cuts the round hole, or supplies a new double-glazed pane with it made; nothing is screwed into the glass.

Keep other cats out · Multi-Magnetic
The Multi-Magnetic stays latched until a cat wearing its small collar magnet touches the flap — the neighbour’s cat stays outside. No batteries, nothing electronic. Glass version for single or double glazing 3–26 mm; wood version for panels 11–52 mm. Prefer microchip? We also stock the SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap.

Wood, uPVC & metal · DIY
For the back door, laundry door, garage door or a wall — a drill, a jigsaw and a screwdriver, with the template in the box. Slim Line suits panels 11–30 mm; Tunnel reaches through solid doors and walls to 52 mm. White or brown.
Replacement flaps, locking dials and clips for every model are on the spares page. Not sure which door? Email a photo to info@petnest.co.nz.

Cat door questions
Which cat door do I need?
Look at what it goes into. Glass door, window or ranch slider: a glass-fitting Catwalk® — Standard for single glazing, Maxi for double glazing or a big cat. Timber, uPVC or metal: a wood-fitting Slim Line or Tunnel. Other cats coming in: the Multi-Magnetic. Find your door names the model in three taps.
Cat flap or cat door — is there a difference?
No. New Zealanders say cat door, the UK says cat flap; it is the same thing — a frame, a swinging flap and a lock.
Can a cat door go in a glass door or window?
Yes. A glazier cuts a round hole — 245 mm for the Standard and Multi-Magnetic, 267 mm for the Maxi — and the two frame halves clamp through the glass. Toughened and double-glazed panes cannot be cut, so the glazier supplies a new pane with the hole already made.
Which cat door works in double glazing?
The Catwalk® Maxi Dual Glaze (glass 3–28 mm) or the Multi-Magnetic (3–26 mm). The Standard is a single-glazing door for panes 3–10 mm.
How do I keep the neighbour’s cat out?
Use selective entry. The Catwalk® Multi-Magnetic opens only for a cat wearing its collar magnet, with no batteries. The SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap reads the chip your cat already has and runs on four AA batteries.
Will my cat fit?
The Standard (165 × 180 mm) takes almost every cat to about 7 kg. Over that, or for a long, big-framed cat, choose the Maxi (187 × 190 mm).
Can I fit a cat door myself?
In a timber, uPVC or metal door, yes — about an hour with a jigsaw and the template in the box. In glass, a glazier cuts the hole; fitting the door afterwards is a screwdriver job.
What warranty do the cat doors have?
3 years on the door and 1 year on the moving parts — flap, 4-way locking dial and magnets. Replacement flaps are stocked for every Catwalk® model.
