Cat doors
Seven Catwalk® cat doors, shown in every colour we make — the Maxi doubles as a small-dog door. Every one has a UV-stabilised polycarbonate flap, a factory-fitted 4-way lock and a 3-year warranty on the door.
Glass-fitting · glazier installed
For windows, glass doors and ranch sliders. In single glazing your glazier cuts one round hole; in double glazing or toughened glass they supply a new pane with the hole already made. Two frame halves clamp through the glass — nothing is screwed into it. Dual Glaze fits glass 3–32 mm; Slim Line is the shallower frame for single panes and sliders. The Multi-Magnetic opens only for a cat wearing the collar magnet — no batteries.
Wood-fitting · DIY
For timber, uPVC and metal doors, garage doors and walls — a drill, a jigsaw and a screwdriver, with the template in the box. Slim Line suits panels 11–30 mm; Tunnel reaches through solid doors and walls up to 52 mm. White or brown frames. The Multi-Magnetic gives collar-magnet selective entry on a wooden door.
Dog doors
Seven Dogwalk® dog doors in every colour, grouped by the size of dog rather than breed: the Catwalk® Maxi for small dogs to about 300 mm at the shoulder, the Dogwalk® Small to about 360 mm, Intermediate to about 380 mm and Medium for 450–500 mm. Small dogs · Catwalk® Maxi · glass-fitting
Small dogs to about 300 mm at the shoulder fit the Catwalk® Maxi, a 187 × 190 mm opening that also suits the biggest cats. Dual Glaze for double glazing, Slim Line for single panes and sliders. Clear, white or black.
Intermediate dogs · glass-fitting · glazier installed
The Dogwalk® Intermediate for dogs to about 380 mm at the shoulder — a 216 × 237 mm opening through a 320 mm round hole your glazier cuts. Dual Glaze fits glass 4–32 mm and suits new double-glazed units; Slim Line (4–13 mm) is the lower-profile frame for single panes and sliders. Clear, white or black.
Medium dogs · glass-fitting · glazier installed
The Dogwalk® Medium for dogs 450–500 mm at the shoulder — our biggest door, a 270 × 300 mm opening through a 385 mm hole. Dual Glaze fits glass 3–32 mm for double glazing; Slim Line (4–20 mm) for single panes and sliders. Ships with locking clips; a security clip is available. Clear, white or black.

The Dogwalk® Small dog door for dogs to about 360 mm at the shoulder (and the biggest cats), straight through the back door, the laundry door or a wall with a jigsaw and the template in the box. Slim Line suits panels 11–30 mm; Tunnel reaches 52 mm for solid doors and walls. White or brown.

The Dogwalk® Medium dog door for dogs 450–500 mm at the shoulder — the big DIY door for timber, PVC and metal panels 5–36 mm, a 270 × 307 mm opening, and it ships with a clip-on cover. White or brown.

Glass-fit vs Wood-fit
Every Catwalk® and Dogwalk® door comes in two fittings. The right one depends on what you are putting it into.
Glass-fitting
Glazier installed · permanent
- For windows, glass doors and ranch sliders — single or double glazing.
- Single glazing: a round hole is cut in the pane. Double glazing or toughened: a new pane comes with the hole already made.
- Two frame halves clamp through the glass. Nothing is screwed into it.
- Dual Glaze fits glass to 32 mm; Slim Line is the shallower frame for single panes and sliders.

Pet door questions
What size pet door do I need?
Measure your pet, not the breed. For a dog, measure from the floor to the top of the shoulder; for a cat, the width at the shoulders and the depth from shoulder to chest. The opening should be about 25 mm bigger than the animal, with its bottom edge at belly height. Every door below lists its opening size, and the Find your door tool does the matching for you.
Can I fit a cat or dog door into glass?
Yes. The glass-fitting models are made for a glazier to install: in single glazing a round hole is cut in the pane; in double glazing or toughened glass the glazier supplies a new pane with the hole already made. Nothing is screwed into the glass. For timber, PVC and metal doors the wood-fitting models are a DIY job.
Glass-fit or wood-fit — which should I choose?
It depends on what the door is going into. Choose glass-fitting for a window, glass door or ranch slider (glazier installed). Choose wood-fitting for a timber, PVC or metal door or a wall — Slim Line for panels 11–30 mm, Tunnel for solid doors and walls up to 52 mm.
What is the difference between Dual Glaze and Slim Line?
Glass thickness. Dual Glaze frames clamp through glass from 3 to 32 mm, so one door suits a double-glazed unit as well as a single pane. Slim Line frames are shallower and suit single glazing and sliders up to 13–21 mm depending on the model. The opening, flap and lock are the same.
Do you sell microchip cat doors?
The Catwalk® selective-entry doors are battery-free magnetic — a small magnet on the collar unlocks the flap, so the neighbour’s cat stays out. For microchip doors we stock SureFlap, which reads the chip your cat already has.
Who makes the doors, and what is the warranty?
Catwalk® and Dogwalk® doors are designed in Auckland by Pet-Tek International, the NZ-owned company behind PetNest, and have been going into New Zealand homes since 1999. Every door carries 3 years on the door and 1 year on its moving parts — flap, locking dial, hinge and magnets. Full terms are on the warranty page.
What are the flaps made of, and do they lock?
UV-stabilised polycarbonate, made for New Zealand sun and daily use. Every door has a factory-fitted 4-way locking dial: open both ways, in only, out only, or locked.
Can I buy a replacement flap for my old Catwalk or Dogwalk door?
Yes. Genuine replacement flaps are stocked for all nine door models, from NZ$24. The model code is moulded into the frame of most doors; match it to the flap, or email us a photo and we will identify it. Flaps clip in without tools.
What spare parts do you sell for pet doors?
Replacement flaps (from NZ$24), 4-way locking dial sets (from NZ$13), security clips for the glass-fitting Dogwalk® doors (NZ$13) and spare collar magnets for the Multi-Magnetic cat doors (pair, NZ$25). All genuine Pet-Tek parts.
